We have this perception that exercise can help us transform ourselves which, up to an extent is true but that’s not the only thing that can help us lose weight. We need the right approach, right strategy, a strict diet that suits our body and changing our lifestyle can help in healthy weight loss. So what should you do on a daily basis that may help you lose those extra kilos? Amber Clemens, personal coach (as per her Instagram bio), took to her Instagram where she shares that she lost 160 pounds (72 kgs) by following certain things daily.
She shared her reel where she revealed 5 habits she did every day that helped her lose 160 pounds. “Sustainable, lasting weight loss comes down to what we do daily and most of the time. Were there days when I didn’t do all of these things? OF COURSE! But I did them most of the time. And if couldn’t make all of them happen, I at least tried to make some of them happen. Having daily habits to work towards is giving yourself benchmarks to hit and a reason to celebrate your hard work EVERY SINGLE DAY!” her caption read.
“It’s also so helpful in simplifying the process. Giving yourself a set of goals to focus on every day helps to declutter all the information coming at us 24/7 and keep us focused on what we need to do for OURSELVES. It’s why all of our clients get a list of habits to work on that they come up with themselves and with the help of their coaches. 5 Things Amber Did Daily To Lose Weight

1. Complete Step Count- 7-10K Steps Daily
Even with a desk job, Amber made sure to complete 7-10k steps daily. She would park her car further to walk extra, take a longer route to the washrooms, or pace around her apartment to complete the step count.
2. Drinking 3 liters of water
Most people don't do that which keeps them dehydrated. Hydration is the key, and drinking at least three litres of water helps the body to stay hydrated and healthy.
3. 25-30 grams of protein
She ate at least 25-30g of protein every meal and tried to get 5-10g of protein in snacks. This helped her reach her daily protein intake goal.
4. Pre-logging the food for the next day
Amber said that she pre-logged her food for the next day before going to bed. This helped her as she did not need to wake up and decide what to have and saved her time.
5. Adding something sweet to the day:
Be it having a dessert at night or an after-work snack, Amber added something sweet to consume in her day to curb her cravings.
